Muntel Video was a label from Holland supposedly to be bootleggers. They were a buncha guys who drove by rental stores with the trunk of their car full with VHS releases and tried to sell them. Although they were bootleggers they took care of their releases. Nice sleeve and mostly a reasonable transfer were their trademarks. The tapestock they used was of good quality too. I don´t exactly know about the Black Power Films relation but Muntel released a couple of blaxploitation movies on their label under the Black Power Films name. Some examples can be seen down here.
I would like to thank Hans Minkes ( to some known as WOOF!) for kindly let me use his scans for the blog. Cheers!
